My May 15th Rite Aid Trips
Today was a fantastic day to shop at Rite Aid with lots of great deals to be found! I did a total of 4 transactions. Here's a break down of #1:
Purchase:
4 Ziploc storage bags on sale 2 for $4 = $8.00

2 $1.25 off 2 Ziploc from the 4/3 SS or the 5/15 SS
2 $1 off Colgate 360 toothbrushes from the April or May All You Magazine
2 $4 +up rewards from a previous trip
Pay: $0.45 plus tax
Get back: $6 +ups (2 $2 from Colgate and 2 $1 from Ziploc)
Transaction #2 Looked like this:
Purchase
4 Crest Pro Health toothpaste 6.0 oz on sale for $2.99 = $11.96
1 Breathsaver mint on sale for .50
Total: $12.46
Use:
4 $1.50/1 Crest Pro Health from the 5/1 PG
1 $5 +up from last week
1 $1 +up from last week
Pay: $0.46 plus tax
Get back $4 +up (2 $2 for purchasing Crest)
Note: I should have only purchased 2 Crest toothpastes as it had a limit of 2, but sometimes I goof. I'll eat this mistake and donate the items to collection going on here in town for the Alabama and Georgia tornado victims.
Rimmel cosmetics are on sale buy 1 get 1 50% so, transaction #3 went like this:
Purchase
2 Rimmel 1000 kisses lip liner priced at $3.59 = $5.38 (due to getting 1 half off)
2 Rimmel eyeliners priced at $3.99 = $5.98 (due to getting 1 half off)
1 Rimmel eyeshadow priced at $5.19
Total: $16.55
Use
$3 off $15 purchase from last week
5 $2/1 printables (will need 3 computers)
1 $2 +up from transaction #1
1 $1 +up from transaction #1
Pay: $0.55 plus tax
Get Back $5 +up for spending $15 on Rimmel cosmetics
Transaction #4 was all about purchasing things that I'm in desperate need of and using Rite Aid money to pay for it. Here's the breakdown:
Purchase:
1 Vicks VaporRub 3.5 oz priced at $8.99
2 3-packs of Chapstick priced at $4.04 = $8.08
Total: $17.07
Use:
10% off coupon for reaching 125 pts with my wellness + card
2 $5 +ups (one from last week and one from transaction #3)
3 $2 +ups (from transactions 1 & 2)
1 $1 +up (from transaction 1)
Pay: - $0.83 plus tax (they paid me to purchase all of this!)
Note: I'm not sure why my total went negative at Rite Aid. As a rule the registers are programmed to not allow this. I think it has to do with using my 10% off coupon though.
Totals for the day:
Out of Pocket: $0.63 plus tax
Total Value: $81.40 plus tax
Total Savings $80.77 or 99%
Rewards Remaining: $0
In the end I think I did fantastic at Rite Aid. How'd you do?
